A storyteller at heart, Caroline Gault is a writer, editor and brand journalist based in Edmonton, Alberta, with a love for fashion, décor, and luxury travel. Since 2011, she’s contributed to FASHION Magazine, Canada’s largest fashion publication, spotlighting local designers, shops and personalities in Calgary and Edmonton.

Her freelance writing assignments have also brought her adventures at top resorts and hotels in the Rocky Mountains, Mexico and California, and at fashion weeks in New York and LA. Her work has appeared at FashionMagazine.com, the National Post, Vitamin Daily, Avenue Magazine and Alberta Venture, while one of her most exciting interviews was with Lady Gaga in 2008.

About the dress: Designed for and inspired by Fashion Magazine Alberta Editor, Caroline Gault. Combining Nicole Campre’s relaxed, tailored aesthetic with Caroline’s feminine style, Nicole transformed a total of 15 meters of silk crepe into a gown.

The form and shape of the transformable design, can transition from a gown to a maxi coat, with sleeves or without sleeves. The neckline is plunging, caplette falling back with a high leg slit to balance the fabric mass. The gown is a deep rose colour in honour of the Heart Truth Foundation and all the sufferers affected.

The Caroline will be produced and sold internationally in a shorter, more wearable, blazer version where all proceeds of the red jacket will go towards Canada’s Heart and Stroke Foundation.
